The Heart and Ojas share an intimate relationship. When one is tended with balance and intention, the other is naturally strengthened. This series explores that relationship.
The Heart Chakra (Anahata) is the seat of boundless love and inner coherence. It nourishes us at every level and serves as a bridge between our physical lives and our spiritual journey. When the heart is supported, we move through life with greater care, steadiness, and ease.
Ojas represents our vitality. It cushions the nervous system and mind, softening rigidity and helping to ground excess or un-serving thought patterns. Ojas is cultivated not by force, but by way of care, consistency, reverence, and devotion within one’s practice.
In a world of constant stimulation, caring for this relationship is imperative, in order to sustain the longevity and balance of our lives and to live in greater alignment with purpose and presence
There are many pathways to support Ojas within a yoga practice. Intention alters the unfolding of service. And learning to approach one's practice as a prayer will deepen this relationship over time.
This class will contain a combination of Hatha, Restorative, Soft Kundalini, Mantra, Mudra and Marma. Always inspired by April's personal sadhana and original teachers.
This series counts for a minimum of 4 CEU hours for members of Yoga Alliance.
